Haha, no it's not what you are thinking. We are not changing it to party of six.
Before Ellie was born, taking the boys to the grocery store was always an experience. Kaden was walking so Connor could ride in the cart, so he would grab stuff off the shelves and beg for it, etc. Connor is always into everything, I had to be careful where I parked the cart or he would grab stuff off the shelves. Sometimes I felt like my head was spinning.
I began to refer to us as the traveling circus. I guess I was hoping that people were entertained by us, not annoyed. :) Well, now we've added another and the show must go on! With three kids, going anywhere is an ordeal. Since I have to carry Ellie, and Connor is such a tank, he gets to walk more now. This ups the chaos quotient. We are always a circus now, and we have three rings :)
So I am renaming the blog "The Brown Family Circus." If you ever encounter us in public, I'm sure you'll approve of this name.
I'll leave you with this mental image: Ellie sitting in her carseat on top of the cart at Fareway. Kaden and Connor each pushing their own little cart. It's like herding cats. I try to get the groceries while keeping those two from running into people and shelves. On top of that I have to keep things fair and load each of their carts evenly. Plus keep them from adding unwanted items to their carts. Plus keep them from running over each other with the carts. When we get to the checkout, they go through first. Then they take their carts and put them away while I pay. Usually they put them away and come right back. The last time we were there, though, Kaden started hanging and swinging on the railing by the carts and wouldn't return. Connor came back but then went and climbed into the carts with the cars on them.
See, I told you we were a circus :)
