Chris has been working long hours keeping people warm, so it has been just me and Kaden a lot. Last week we watched the same episode of Minute to Win It twice. It was on Tuesday night and again Friday night. It was a special holiday episode, and Kaden wouldn't let me change the channel Friday night. He wanted to watch it. One of the games they did on this episode was the "Face the Cookie" challenge. In this challenge, you have to set a oreo cookie on your forehead and move it into your mouth using only your face muscles, no hands. (Incidentally, I had to participate in this challenge at a Homecoming pep rally this year, and I am REALLY good at it :)) For the special holiday episode, they used a gingerbread man.
Today after school, Kaden was showing me his school stuff out of his backpack. He had a gingerbread man. He opened it up and said "I have to put it on my face." He set the cookie on his forehead and, keeping on hand on it at all times, moved his face like the girl on tv did until it was in his mouth. Priceless!
