Christmas Can Be Rough

We ventured down to Omaha the weekend of the 18th for the Wingender Christmas. We were supposed to stick around on Sunday for the Brown Christmas, but we had to come back home because Chris had to work. We missed everyone!


Kaden had a blast all day at the celebration. He LOVED the toy room (this was his first year down there, as he was too young 2 years ago and last year we got snowed out). He refused to eat until I bargained with him, and spend most of the day down there. He enjoyed foosball, but also loved when they turned off the lights and played with flashlights. He managed to sruvive all of that action unscathed.


Later that night though, he fell down the stairs between the kitchen and the bar area. Surprisingly, the lights were on! He got a nasty bump on his head that turned into a black eye for Christmas. Here is the progression of his injury.



When we got home Sunday. Mostly a bruise on the forehead.
