Our little boy is finally feeling better. He will go back to the babysitter tomorrow. I know this because since he's been up from his nap he has been back to his usual busy busy busy self. Watching him finally return to normal inspired me to share with you some of the things he likes to do.
*Turn on every TV in the house. We recently got the tv in the back room hooked up and Kaden figured out how to turn it on. Every time he walks in that room, the tv gets turned on. We have to shut the door to that room or it would be on all the time. He also knows how to turn on the tv in the kitchen. To do this, he drags his stool over, climbs up on it, finds the remote, and turns on the tv. Kind of a bright kid.
*Blow his nose. We have to keep the baby wipes put away at all times. Otherwise Kaden will pull out the whole box one by one and blow his nose. The only positive is that he also throws them away. A new variation of this is that he likes to use toilet paper to blow his nose. The downside to this is that he usully manages to unroll the entire roll.
*Talk on the phone. He loves phones. He finally grew out of the stage where he would listen for a second, say bye, and try to hang up the phone. Now he'll listen and talk.
*Say I love you.
*Talk to Nana on the computer. Sometimes his attention is limited, but he does enjoy it.
*Cuddle with his blankie. He really doesn't have a specific blankie, but when he finds any blankie he drags it over to us and we cuddle up in it.
*Sweep the floor. Any time I have the broom or the swiffer out, he steals it and sweeps the floor.
I have more, but I have to get ready for my game tonight. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things tomorrow. Praying for no more sick days- for any of us!
I'll also try to post the picture of kaden eating his supper at the kitchen counter last night while standing on his stool. Hey- when the kid won't eat for 3 days you'll let him eat wherever he wants as long as he eats!
