I'm going to update quickly before I take a nap. We had a busy weekend. Saturday night was the Fitzpatrick Auto Center Christmas Party at King's Pointe. We took advantage of a special room rate to have a little mini Christmas vacation. Chris' mom came and stayed with us at the resort, but before we headed there we went to Santa's Castle. Kaden liked watching the moving animals. In particular he liked the monkeys baking. He also LOVED the trains. I'm pretty sure we could have stood there for hours watching the trains. We did ok with Santa. No tears, but he wasn't real sure about him and didn't sit long.
After that we went to King's Pointe and checked in. We hit the water park and the water was MUCH warmer than last time. Kaden had a blast. I don't know many kids his age that will actually JUMP IN the water....but he will. He also likes the slides on the splashground. We went to the Christmas party that night and had a great time. We ate breakfast at Regatta Grille and hit the waterpark again this morning. Needless to say we are all very tired. Kaden didn't make it two blocks on our way home and he was asleep. Here are some pics from Santa's Castle and some of our decorations at home. I'll post some waterpark pictures as soon as I get some. We didn't take any with our camera.
One last week of school and then Christmas vacation! YAY!
