We are still alive. And kicking. Let's just say life has been hectic since my last post. We figured out in late August (shortly after school started) that our discussion about adding another child was no longer open to discussion. Ready or not, we will soon be Brown, Party of Five.
Connor is oblivious to what is going on. He will have a rude awakening in March when he no longer gets to be a mama's boy. Kaden wavers between excited and annoyed. I was initially freaked. Two kids in diapers, two kids in day care, THREE KIDS? I've mostly recovered. Chris was handling the news pretty well....until last week.
We had our ultrasound on Halloween. Kaden went home from school with friends and Connor stayed at daycare. Chris and I went to for our third (and final) ultrasound. The baby was moving a lot. Baby liked having hands by the face. Baby has the same nose as Chris and both of the boys. Most importantly, baby was only one baby. (The kids at school got a little carried away and were predicting 4 or more.) We got through seeing all of that and I finally asked the big question. Boy or girl?
Baby Brown #3 is ........the reason I need a new blog title. I cannot call this blog "My Life with the Boys" anymore because we will be adding a little girl to our family in March. I'm not so sure Chris has wrapped his head around having a daughter yet. Kaden, once again, wavers between excited and disappointed, and Connor continues to be oblivious. I am excited to have a girl this time, but at the same time, it would have been much easier just to have another boy. We already know how to do boys!
So, I am seeking a new blog name. Suggestions are welcome. :)
I heard the exciting news from Shelby! Congrats on the girl. :) I will be feeling the same way if we have a boy: we know how to do girls around here! I am totally not creative, so sorry, no help on the blog title.
