Kaden Kaden Kaden

It's been awhile since I've updated on Kaden. I'll try to capture his current "personality" in this post.

Kaden

* is mouthy. He has already spent a lot of time in time-out in the 3 days of summer vacation we have had. He tries to use the things I say to him on me. "Don't talk to me like that" "When I say yes you don't say no." Extremely frustrating!

* is very loving. He always wants to cuddle "his" Connor. He also randomly tells us that he loves us. And it is actually not when he wants something. When he wants something, he...

*whines a lot. When he wants something he whines with lots of "please please please" thrown.in

*loves to do things for people. He likes to make things for people. The other night he colored a picture for Kathi, got an envelope, put the picture in the envelope, and decorated the envelope with stickers.

* LOVES to be outside. It's been a challenge to bring him in long enough so I can feed Connor and we can go back out.

* enjoys eating lunch at Mommy's school. Our school has a summer lunch program. Kids 1-18 eat free and adults eat for $3.25. It is a federally funded program, and the school encourages everyone to come up. In previous years Kaden ate lunch at Kathi's while I was coaching and I would pick him up just after he ate. We went for the first time Wednesday and he loved it! Hopefully it's good training for preschool in the fall.

* is pretty much done going to Kathi's, even though he doesn't realize this yet. He'll go to preschool at the school in the fall, which is an all day program. He will still go to Kathi's on the days they have off (many Fridays), but his full time status there is now over. He'll go for a few days before school starts (when I go back) so hopefully that will ease the transition. He is VERY excited for school.

* has a new "buddy" Olivia, one of our babysitters was here Wednesday so I could clean the freezer without help. She took the boys for a walk to the house of another family she babysits. Kaden met his "buddy" there. He is at our house now and they are playing with the mower and bikes and sidewalk chalk. They even held hands as they walked to lunch on Wednesday.

*has to understand everything. He won't let it rest until he understands.

There is much more to tell you, but I've got to go mediate. Kaden is being a little bossy : )
