Exhausted

We had a busy weekend. Friday, Kaden and I painted in the morning and afternoon, and then we had to head to Storm Lake for the Friday night EMS conference that I help put on. Kaden played hard all night at the conference, and we got to bed a little late.

On Saturday, Mommy left really early for day 2 of the EMS conference. Kaden and Daddy went to the golf course to help with clean up (where he got to hit a couple of balls), and then down to the fire station to start cooking soup for Sunday's soup supper. Kaden rode his bike and played while Daddy cooked and cleaned windows. We went for an early supper after the EMS conference, and then headed back to the station to finish cooking (and play some more). Today we were at the station for a couple of hours this morning, then showered and headed back from 1-8. We had a great turnout for the soup supper, and Kaden had a friend to play with. They were running around like crazy all afternoon. We got home and Kaden picked up his blankie and asked where his chair was. I found it, and 5 minutes later we look over and he is SOUND asleep. I think the weekend finally caught up with him.






The only bad thing is that I am still on spring break tomorrow, and since he fell asleep so early, he'll probably be up early too. Oh well!
