Some Random Thoughts

1. I just need to vent this. It snowed today. On April 19th. A plowable amount. What the heck? Anyway- I'm not even going to complain about that. I can't believe the number of people I have witnessed on Facebook today saying that they are keeping their kids home....because it snowed 2-3 inches. Some of these people live IN TOWN. Seriously? You live in IOWA and it snows here. Stop being overprotective and let your kids live! These are probably the same people that take their kids to the doctor everytime they sneeze and use the stupid "shopping cart covers". Sorry....this just annoyed me.

2. Connor is going to Kathi's for the first time tomorrow! She is very excited. We are starting whole grade sharing with Aurelia next year, so the Aurelia kids are coming over to our building tomorrow to meet all the teachers and see the building. We are building an addition to our current middle school, and eventually it will become our high school (the middle school students will be in Aurelia), but it won't be done until December. So, we are starting the year in the old building. Long story short, they have asked that I am there tomorrow to meet the students, so I'll be going to school. On top of that, Chris has to go to Tama for a meeting, and he will be leaving at 5:45. We'll see how late I am to school trying to get all three of us out the door with no help. Wish us luck!

3. Everyone asks how Kaden is doing as a big brother. He loves it! He is always wanting to hug and kiss his little brother. When we pick him up from the babysitter, Kaden has to go give Connor a kiss before he will get in his car seat. He freaks out if he doesn't get to help with Connor's bath. The other day, Connor was laying on the floor on a blanket enjoying being awake. Chris and I were in the kitchen. Connor started to get a little fussy, and the next thing we hear is Kaden playing his guitar and singing "You Are My Sunshine."

4. Out of time for now. More later.....hopefully with pictures :)
