Back to March....
I had EMS conference in Sioux City on the 12th and 13th of March. This is one of my favorite weekends. I get to learn new stuff (I'm a nerd, I know this, but I really do enjoy learning) and then we get to have some fun :) Mom and Dad picked Kaden up from Kathi's that day so Chris could come up after work. We had supper at Olive Garden with some of the other EMT's and wandered up and down 4th Street. THe next day we did a little shopping and the enjoyed a night out in Alta together. A little 'date' weekend....kind of.
The last weekend in March was full! We bought tickets to Rodney Carrington in Spencer with some friends. We took a 15 passenger van. It was a good night! I think our abs all hurt the next day from laughing so hard.
I had to get up and endure the hangover the next day. We hosted our 6th annual EMS Day by the Lake. A small group of people started this group to host this conference. I helped one year, got elected presdient the next year, and the rest is history. Anyway- we put on this conference and it went pretty well. Kaden got to spend the weekend with Nana. They went sledding on what was left of her snow.
That gets us through the end of March. April began the adventures of potty training......but that will have to wait for another day. Happy Friday!
