Sometimes Kaden scares me a little with the things he does/remembers/says/understands. At his 2 year appointment the other day, Dr. Grant was asking the development screening questions. He asked if Kaden could make 2-3 word sentences. I kind of laughed and said yes. I knew he could, but tonight he even amazed me.
We were golfing tonight, just the three of us. We had already played nine, and we still to play a few more since we still had daylight. Chris and I were teeing off and Kaden was playing around the cart. We got in the cart to go, and Kaden wouldn't get in. He said "I need my ball." Chris said "Well, where did you put it?" Kaden replies "I put it right there by those trees." I found it in the line of bushes along the golf cart path....right where is said it was. But seriously, what just barely 2 year old puts together that sentence???
Before we actually went golfing, we went to pick up the golf cart to bring it home and wash it. During this story, keep in mind that we have only had this golf cart a week. Kaden went golfing with us on Saturday and Monday night- that's it- 2 times. We got there to pick up the cart, and Kaden remembered that we had to lift the seat and "push the button." He was right, we had to put the cart in run mode instead of tow mode. I barely remember to do that.
There is at least 1 thing everyday that amazes me. These are just 2 that I remember from today.
