Chris' request for Father's Day was that we play golf. We invited my Dad and Shelby up to play with us. The rain quit just in time, and we got to go play. Kaden and I cut out a little early because people were already at the house. But the two father's got to finish.
When everyone got to the house, we all hung out outside. We let Kaden open presents right away so we could play with them while Chris cooked supper.
I didn't get a picture of him opening them all, but he really enjoyed opening this year. He got a pool from Whitney, blocks from Gramma and Papa, a fire truck sprinkler from Mara and Rusty, Play-Doh and a cute outfit from Melissa and Kayla, Bowling set and swimming stuff from Mommy and Daddy, and a Big Wheel from Nana.
Then it was time to play.
Kayla and Kaden ran through the sprinkler.
Kaden had a snack on his big wheel.
Then he rode the Big Wheel while Papa made homemade ice cream.
We ate supper, and then we sang Happy Birthday. I made the cake this year. Nothing fancy but it tasted good.
Kaden loved the homemade ice cream and the cake.
Kaden played with his indoor toys while we cleaned up. Once everyone left we chilled on the couch with Kayla.
And Toby stopped by! Toby is really Doug O'Bannon, Kaden's godfather.
It was a great day!
